Woodbury Tree When: August 15th to November 1st How it Works: The city will be issuing up to 2 vouchers per address for the amount of $100 each, to any resident who plants a qualifying tree on their side property. To qualify for the program each citizen must complete a 'Tree Planting Agreement' which can be found at City Hall, the Public Works Department, or on the City of Woodbury's website. The form must be completed and returned to the Public Works Department marked 'attention Jason McCarville'. Upon receiving the form, the city will come out to inspect the site to be sure that it is acceptable. The planting site must be on the side of the property facing the nearest public road, no closer than 15 feet from the curb. When the property owner has been notified that they have been chosen to participate in the program, they will be given a voucher good for re-imbursement of $100 per tree (maximum of $200) from the city. Just bring your receipt into City Hall where the voucher will be validated. Tilia-Linden Trees: Any variety is acceptable, but must be 1.5" caliper or bigger. Quercas-Oak Trees: Any variety is acceptable, but must be 1.5" caliper or bigger. Populus-Quaking Aspen: Either clump or single stem but at least 1" caliper. Betula-Birch: Any variety, clump or single stem is acceptable, but must be 6' tall or higher. Acer-Maple: Autumn Blaze variety at least 1.5" caliper. Gleditsia-Honeylocust: Any variety is acceptable, but must be 1.5" caliper or bigger. Amelanchier-Serviceberry: Any variety is acceptable, but must be 6' tall or higher.
